Let's see. I'm a twenty-something from North Georgia and I'm contstantly trying to seek out the beauty the world has to offer. I love my God, my mister, and my green tea. Sunlight makes me happy and long car rides make me sing out loud.
My blog is the out-loud journal of sorts. Here I share shoots, thoughts, inspiration, and other things that make me who I am. Not only will you get to see some nifty behind-the-scenes work as well as some hopefully helpful tips and tricks but also a little bit more about the girl behind the camera.
I've been shooting since 2006 (which didn't seem like that long ago until just recently!) and just about everything I know about photography I've taught myself through tons of trial and error. I take photos because I love to. And I know how cliche it sounds, but photography really is my passion. Plain and simple. I just love that feeling of being able to bring something out in a photo that can't be spoken.
As a photographer, I am constantly inspired by life. I'm always looking for the little things that we often overlook or take for granted: sunlight through the leaves, little fingers and toes, a crooked grin, a secret kiss. My main goal is not to necessarily "direct" or "stage" a shoot but to catch those things that will ensure a more unique, authentic experience. More real. More you.
