I feel I have to start this post with an explanation on my project called Otherlings. Otherlings, to me, are characters and stories that aren't necessarily from this time or world. They're photoshoots based off of fantasies in my head, from witches and fairies to just a simple story of love. Since I was a young girl, I loved telling and writing stories...and now I want to share these stories visually.
Fairy Dreams was my first attempt at this project. It was the end of January, and spring was desperately trying to show itself. I have to admit, I was more than ready for it. That's kind of where I got the idea of fairies and nature. I wanted to share a little spring during the cold. I quickly made a few flower wreaths and grabbed a few friends and headed out to a nearby state park. Kayla and Ashley make pretty awesome fairies, no?
